Ramadan Food Drive
In the months leading up to this blessed month, I.C. Hope volunteers have been hard at work identifying families who needed help and the type of assistance they will require to make the month of Ramadan a little easier.
During Ramadan 2021, as a humanitarian initiative, the Iraqi Children’s Hope branch in Iraq (Basra province, Samawa province, and Baghdad province) has distributed over 700 food baskets to orphans families, families with low incomes, and needy families.
Attached below are images from the food drive.
Children’s Tutoring For Success
Iraqi Children’s Hope helps children who struggle to keep up with school work, as well as those who feel that they aren’t challenged enough academically.
We prioritize orphans who cannot afford to attend private schools or tutoring fees.
Iraqi Children’s Hope seeks to make a profound difference in the lives of orphan students in grades 1-9 through homework assistance and various other academic initiatives. Our tutoring programs aid our children in topics like English, reading, writing, mathematics, and more!
Pictures of some of our work are attached below.

Eid Al-Adha for Orphans!
Iraqi Children’s Hope celebrated the blessed Eid Al-Adha by distributing Eid clothes to more than 400 orphan boys and girls. The ceremony was held to distribute clothes at Rotana Hall in Basra Governorate for two days: Sunday and Monday, the 26th and 27th of July 2020.
There was great joy and delight in the faces of the orphan children as they shopped inside the exhibition hall and chose from the different types of clothes available.

Special Birthday Celebrations for Children
It is no secret that a child feels loved, valuable, and important to their friends and family when they are celebrated. What happens to the children who have lost their father/mother, or both? Of course, orphan children love to be celebrated too, so we at Iraqi Children’s Hope make it a priority to remind children in orphanages that they too are loved and important. Children can expect to receive clothes, shoes, sweets, and scholastic materials on their birthday along with a lot of love, care, and laughter.
We thank our sponsors for their contribution of bringing joy to the hearts of countless children. We additionally would like to thank the I.C. Hope staff for their tremendous efforts in putting a smile on the faces of these beloved children.
